My Career Choice

There are various kinds of jobs in the world, such as writing, nursing, teaching, and engineering. But different people choose different jobs as their ideal careers. This is because everyone has his own interest. As for me, I have made up my mind to be a teacher. I choose to do this mainly for three reasons.

First, I want to teach because I like the pace of the academic calendar. Two long vacations give me an opportunity for research and writing. This means I can have more time to delve into my subject area and prepare engaging lessons for my students.

Secondly, I want to teach because I like the freedom to make my own mistakes, to learn my own lessons, and to stimulate myself and my students. In the classroom, I can try out new teaching methods and strategies, which helps me grow professionally and keep my teaching skills sharp. Plus, I can have the opportunity to keep on learning, as I am always exposed to new ideas and perspectives from my students.

Lastly, I have a deep admiration for teachers. They play a crucial role in shaping the future by imparting knowledge and inspiring the next generation. I aspire to be one of those teachers who make a positive impact on students' lives and help them achieve their dreams.

In conclusion, choosing to be a teacher is not just a job for me； it is a passion and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. I am excited about the journey that lies ahead and the opportunity to grow as an educator.
